Top 10 Haunted Places in Bangladesh!!!

                 There are lots of haunted places around the world. Some of them are so famous that even the government of that country made the area or place restricted. Then why not Bangladesh? Yes, there are some places in Bangladesh that are haunted. Though they are not restricted by the government but they do have some creepy stories that will make you shiver! I did a vast research on these places and listed top 10 of the most haunted places in Bangladesh.....


1. Foy's Lake

        The very first place in our list is the famous Foy's Lake located in Chittagong city. Its is heard that two women ghosts are haunting this area from centuries ago. One black and another one white. The black lady causes harm and the white one gives signal before any trouble. These are experienced over a long time as we known. Maybe they still wanders in the land at the curve of two hills.


2. Dhaka Airport Road
                   
        Not only in rural areas or jungles, paranormal activities are also seen in urban areas too. Dhaka International Airport Road is a good example of it. Many people have experienced ghost sightings while driving on the road. The nature of ghost sighting is sp sudden that most of the times this lead to an accident. It is haunted by a lady soul who clearly wants people to die.

3. Lalbagh Fort
        This is a well-known historical haunted place of Bangladesh. People reported about two ghosts here. One is a shadowy man riding on a headless horse and the ghost of Pori Bibi herself. During midnight it becomes the playground of Pori Bibi.

4. Kuakata Beach
        A naturally awesome beautiful beach is known as Kuakata Beach which is located in southern part of Bangladesh. It is called as The Daughter of Ocean. But, it has some badly horror stories. As a result it is considered as haunted beach.

5. Banani Golf Heights
        Paranormal stories had been rumored for years about the Banani Golf Heights which is located beside the Banani Graveyard. People often get frightened on that spot. Some people directly claim to hear a baby crying during they were passing by road or driving a car. They had heard baby crying with extremely loud voice from the dark windows of Banani Golf Heights. Also very unpleasant odor was being created at the same time and whenever the baby ghost stopped crying, the odor was gone.

6. Dhaka-Chittagong Road
        According to the legend many years ago when there was no homestead around the place and the road is not constructed near the Chandranath hill a ghost lived here. When people started to live in here the ghost would feel disturbed. And that's exactly why the ghost always tries to take revenge and disturbs people.

7. Dhanmondi 27

        After a suicidal incident of a lady the 3rd floor of a building in Dhanmondi 27 has become haunted. That floor has been vacant for 10 or more years now. One of the construction workers of the building once quoted that, there had been some unusual activities like falling of bricks from nowhere, sudden load shedding and noise of screaming from roof and higher floors of the building. But none of these had been visualized yet.

8. Chalan Beel

        Chalan Beel is one of the most famous water lowlands of Bangladesh. Its natural beauty and environment attracts everyone. Once upon a time there was a landlord (Zamindar) at Tadash (Thana) area in Chalan Beel. He had some spiritual power in his life. One night when he passed away on that very night three temples grew up there by some supernatural force surprisingly. But on the next day the last temple broke down on its own. This place is still believed to be haunted by Jinns.

9. Parki Beach Chittagong

        Parki beach is a very beautiful place. Almost 120 km long. But this beach has some horror incidents that made is as a well known haunted place. The haunted and eerie atmosphere, ghostly shadow, apparitions of sailor ghosts makes it haunted at night. This is also a famous haunted spot in Bangladesh. After many people claimed this beach is not safe for walking in moonlit night. Some of them complained that they have heard mysterious footsteps, eerie sounds of screaming near them.

10. Sundarban

        Not only famous for the Royal Bengal Tiger, it is also a fearsome place for some supernatural activities. A group of tourists went there to visit. One of them was taking pictures but suddenly he screamed. His friends found him fainted on the ground. After two days, the medical hospital declared him as dead. But when the photo was developed, there was a lady standing behind him.
